Well, apparently though I utterly suck at linguistics (and am most likely going to fail my final next Thursday), it seems I am not actually as bad at Modern music history as I thought I was. Today we got our essay marks back and somehow (and I really do mean somehow because I thought I was going to fail SO BAD) I got 23 out of 25. WTF? That's almost the best mark I've ever recieved for an essay. So at the moment I've got 35 out of the 40 marks we've been assessed, and it's actually kinda freaking me out because I thought I was only just going to slip by and pass.
OH WELL.
So as a reward I went and shopped for hours, which isn't really that enjoyable, but I found some awesome stuff.
At the moment I'm sitting in the music library awaiting 5 pm so that I can fiiinally collect my essay. And I shall probably get rained on while I walk home, as it looks as though there is a mighty storm a-brewin'. The UQ music block is really awesome, due to random people walking around singing bits of chorales. I think that's pretty cool. /nerd.
